Tell Colorado's Air Quality Control Commission: Pass a strong clean air plan that meets air quality standards

Dear Air Quality Control Commissioners,

Please ensure the state's ozone reduction pollution plan, also known as a SIP, cuts ozone pollution enough to ensure we meet EPA air quality standards.

For too long, Coloradans living along the Front Range have been exposed to dangerously high levels of ozone pollution. Ground-level ozone pollution can cause or worsen not only respiratory conditions such as asthma and lung damage but also certain cardiovascular diseases and metabolic disorders.

From expanding transportation options like transit to reducing pollution from the oil and gas or lawn equipment sectors to tackling ozone pollutants that come from buildings and other industries, we have a lot of tools to clean up our air.

We can't afford to miss the mark. Please ensure the state's ozone plan has enough action so we can have clean air in Colorado.

Sincerely,
