No more disposable foam cups and containers in Colorado

Coloradans toss away a lot of foam containers, cups and plates each day -- an estimated 1 million polystyrene foam cups alone. These polystyrene containers will take 500 years or more to break down. Nothing we use once should trash our future for centuries.

The Colorado Senate is considering a bill this week -- SB243 -- which will ban food establishments from using plastic foam cups and containers for their to-go food and drinks. Tell your state senator to vote yes.
