Tell Governor Polis: To reduce waste, producers should take responsibility for their products

Too many products come with unnecessary packaging or are designed in ways that can't be recycled. This unnecessary waste clogs our landfills, litters our waterways and parks and undermines our recycling programs.

We need to pass a state policy that ensures producers take responsibility for the packaging and containers they produce. A producer responsibility bill would ensure companies help fund our recycling infrastructure and incentivize products that come with less packaging and are easier to recycle.
